We have done it this way because it contains material which, given the choice, some Catholics, and some Ecumenically minded Protestants, might prefer not to read at all.

It does not vilify Catholics and it is not the product of religious bigotry.

But it is written from the point of view of one who rejects the Catholic religion.

We do NOT hate Catholics!

Nor is it our purpose to provoke bad feelings in our readers, towards Catholics. That would be a denial of the love of Christ, who died for both us and them.

Nevertheless, the Bible does contain a number of warnings to followers of Jesus, about a counterfeit religious system, which will deceive the unwary. For those whose minds are open to truth, these warnings clearly point to the Roman Catholic Church.

Many of the points raised, are a part of the heritage left to us by the reformers of the Middle Ages. They are the reasons why brave men like Luther, Calvin, and Knox, bore the heat of the battle in their time, and separated from the Catholic Church.They are the reasons behind the Martyrdom of the thousands of Ana-baptist believers, who died for daring to differ.

The Protestant Church has long known these things. 

However in this generation of the Church, the majority appears to have lost the vision of the Reformers and the boundaries have become more than a little blurred. 

The short summary contained in the paper points to some of the things that Protestants seem, by and large, to have forgotten.
